yesterday I saw a TD along side the road with a for sale sign on it.

Had to stop, right.

Whee, good metal, no/none rust anywhere.

Steel frame, coil over shocks, V-8 Ford eng, Alum floor.

$7500 and it ran, boy did it run. Except for the wheels it really looked stock.

Durn shame to find one of those converted.
 
Probably a silly question, but that's never stopped me before:

Was it a real TD, or a kit? Reason I ask is your comment about no rust, steel frame and trick suspension...
 
Was a real engine, overhead valves. Big one.

And yep it was a real one for sure. Was real steel body pannels, all of them along with tank, windsheld, seat and radiator shell and fins.

Engine tucked in nicely. Was a real rat rod that was not quite finished but very driveable. Dash had been converted as well.
