TR2/3/3A On installing the floor pan

On installing the floor pan the 90 degree bend that meets the drive line tunnel was lapped so that the tunnel side set on top of the floor, but when I install the new ones getting the 90 of the floor piece in behind the tunnel piece looks very difficult. Did you guys just put the new floor inside and not behind the tunnel and that worked out? Or perhaps sliding them in somehow from the front down low, maybe?

I had to reform the lip in some areas with a hammer/dolly/occasional heat/frequent cussing.

Yes, a picture would be helpful but if I understand you description, your original seems incorrect. The floor sits on top of the driveshaft tunnel flange, at least that's the way it is on my post 60k.

Thank Tom you are correct I was looking at it wrong. I used a rotary file to cut the spot welds and on a couple it went all the way through and it others it did not. Somehow I mixed that up. I am relieved that I was wrong. This way it will better and easier.
