Rick,

I caught the Bugeye in the closing ceremonies too. I was so shocked. There were lots of B's and Mini's, but seeing the Bugeye caught me by surprise. Did you see the Healey Blue over white big Healey too?

Saw the Bugeye too. As well at the big Healey and an MG-TD and even a Reliant Robin.

In another post Roger mentioned seeing an Elise and a Ford Corsair too.

Of course, lots of "Black Cabs".

And those horrid new Rolls-Royce Phantom Dropheads too (they were left-hand drive!).

Wow! Is that "Up With Bugeyes" singing?

If you're old enough to remember them, you'll probably remember Petula (I think this is where the Olympic committee got it's choreography),

Gerard,

I have to admit I missed the ceremony but I did hear about the big Healey as well. Haven't heard any info on who the owners were of either the frog or the big 'un.

Dave Pratt on the MGcars BBS is the bugeye owner.

Cool! Thanks for posting the photo, Rick!

I remember seeing one during the bit where all of the cars were covered in newspapers. Odd how I could spot an MGA and a Bugeye, regardless of the wrapping.
