1958 PV444L Volvo ---

With all this talk of old VW Bugs I can't resist (at least attempting) to post a photo of my recent project.
It is a '58 PV444 Volvo.
This car has the original B16b eng (2 SU H4s - 85hp) combined with a 3spd. trans.
There are quite a few English components on these older Volvos including the brakes (Girling) and indicator lights (Lucas) as well as the carbs.
Surprisingly, these cars were raced with good success in the late 50s.

Cheers!
Dave G.

I had one of those back in the late 60s. The one I had was problematic and after putting up with it for 2 years, I sold it. Wouldn't mind having it today, as I wouldn't have to depend on it for a daily driver.
