I sense that some of you guys are scanning old pictures of your Brit cars. Some of these old snaps can be real treasures.

I've been doing it too and it's great fun to try to figure out who's who, what's what and so forth.

Here's some of mine. I have quite a few more, and I'm building a page with them right now.
I have pics of some some fairly neat "specials" and home-builts that I'll share when this project is done. And a local buddy just sent me some his old pics for this project too.

Me and my $60 Bugeye running a field trials at New Egypt Speedway around '69 or so.

My Frog (left) and the similar car owned by a girl I used to hang out with. My college roomate's ALFA Gt 1300 Jr. behind her car and behind that a brand new Celica that I helped put a Ford V8 in many years later.

Me (in the Frog) with two pals around 1969 at McGuire AFB (Flying Burros Sports Car Club). You can see Anson Baker's fearsome TR-3 Special in the background.

A terrible photo, but you get the idea. This me sitting in my 1275 Sprite. at a McGuire AFB field trials around 1970. The guys standing are high school friends. The fellow on on the right was also my college roomate and the guy on the left had just gotten back from sitting in an Army radar station in Alaska for 2 years. Both are still big-time car guys.

Me in the '67 at an autocross in the parking lot of Bucks County Community College (PA) around '70.

New Egypt speedway. Wow, I remember when it was built back in the 50s. 1/8th of a mile if I remember correctly. When it was built they raced full size stock cars on it. You could only run 2nd gear because it was so small. Had a hook on the dash to keep from jumping out of 2nd gear. My uncle was one of the originals, along with Augie Macheria, Parker Bohn and the rest I can't remember. It was gravel then. A constant left hand turn. Thanks for the memories!
