Yeah, the corkscrew took some learning as you couldn't see the second part so you had to drift it blind while trying to stay on the track. And you had to be sure you never entered it with another car unless you knew them and trusted them.
 
I drove my Pantera on The Corkscrew, but it was a lead - follow event, so it probably wasn’t quite as exciting…

What got really exciting was that you had to enter the top curve at full chat while being unable to see the next section of track. If someone had spun out in front of you you only found out rather suddenly and had a fraction of a second to decide which way you wanted to go to avoid the other car. Most nervous making corner on all the tracks I had run at. Sometimes you'd try to go through the corner side by side with a competitor and find another car sitting crosswise on the track in front of you. It really did sharpen your reflexes!
