Old English White and Biscuit?

Old English White with a Biscuit interior?

Anyone have any pictures of this combo? I’m not sure it would work, thoughts?

Sure was not orginal but I like both. IMHO the white would not set off the biscuit properly or the other way around?

Think white should be used with stronger colors. Red, Black, Green for example. However, think only red is orginal.

I had a friend with a Leyland White (kind of a refrigerator white) rubber bumbered MGB that came from the factory with an Autumn Leaf interior. Not exactly "Bisquit"...but very close...I thought it looked good, especially with black carpeting.

My Alfa, is Ivory... very close to OEW, and it has a dark blue (kind of a mix between navy and slate blue) interior. I think it is a very good combo.

Here's mine-its white with autumn interior and black carpet. Its really mirage, but it looks white enough. I like it myself, it seems to work pretty good.

Thanks-its a Mountney from the early 90's. I kept it from my old GT. Heres another interior shot, too.

I just have a dash picture, as the seats need reupholstered, but you'll see the shade of blue I was talking about...

Thanks Kenny, Prestige has a Navy kit that I might go for, but its so close to black that it may not be worth the extra coin.

Matt The autumn leaf looks good with a light exterior, but the biscuit might be too light. I was hoping someone had done it, I've been looking for pictures for a while. I guess there's a reason I can't find any. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Our's was OEW originally with red interior, underwent a "restoration" some time in the late '70's~ early '80's. They changed to black interior with '72 seats... and a half-arsed "Amana White" exterior. UGH... we got the car in '89 and I promised it would get OEW when the time came to go thru it. We're keeping the black insides as it's easier to find "raw" materials for.

If we were lotto winners it'd be red. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

This is the BEST color combo you could pick. My last car was this color with light floormats and wood wheel and knob. A real attention getter! Black stayfast top. I still have the original buiscuit LEATHER boot cover I could part with. See the attachment
