Old claymation car film

Random thoughts on my part, but I recall seeing a claymation car film in my youth, and I'll be darned if I can remember what it was called. I just know that between IMDB and Wikipedia I haven't been able to figure it out. I recall the plot involved some inventor who built a racing car, and the secret to its performance was some gold can-shaped device under the dash. So he gets into a race with it, but before he does some bad guys sneak in and sabotage this device, cutting a crack in it. So during the race this thing falls apart, the car stops, and his copilot pushes the thing back together, so it takes off, leaving curled strips of asphalt behind it. I also recall the inventor had some anthropomorphic pet duck who rode this propeller driven tricycle. Probably sounds weird, and yeah, it was a kid's film, but for some reason I remember parts of it. I remember seeing it on television a few times, but I must have been about 8 years old. Any ideas what it was called?

"PINCHCLIFFE GRAND PRIX"

Youtube has two short sections of it if that's the one I'm thinking of.

Edit: Also called the "FlĂĄklypa Grand Prix ".
