Oklahoma lost crops

Oklahoma grows a lot of quality peaches and we just found out, due to the very high temperatures, 90% of the peach crops were lost this year! We have lost trees this year due to the leaves burning up. Along with more than a couple months of no rain some crops were lost or very low production. Farmers are having a hard time making it this year! Not sure what the rest of the year will bring, but it doesn't look promising. :( PJ

Same thing here in Connecticut, unfortunately. If you don't have irrigation and a deep source of water, you're out of luck. we've had two inches of rain since March.

Sorry to hear that. We're the opposite - almost 26" this year already.
