well, the first "big ticket" expense (other than initial purchase)has finaly been incurred! Had the tranny and OD gone through and any bits needed replaced, as well as the head which had 5 repairable cracks. So, im up to about $1200 now just in parts. BUT the good news is i will have a "like new" tranny and head when im done.

i have to take it slow since we are repainting the house and preparing it for sale next year! The even better news is that in the market we are in, we will EASILY double (or more) our purchase price and that means I get a new frame from Kilmartin as well as all body work done!!!!!!!

one disjointed, randomly placed step at a time!

Watch out!! TimBN2 it can also mean that the next house you want to buy can not be purchased for less than what you sold this one for.---Keoke

Hey timbn2 - good luck with the Healey improvements and with the sale of the house. I was in your neighborhood earlier this year on a x-country ski vacation in the Methow Valley...beautiful country. Looked to me like 2nd home paradise...no wonder the home values are zooming!
