OK Check this one on Ebay

And the responses to the questions are a little sketchy to say the least.

This seems really odd. I mean, he's listed it for so little, and the responses seem somewhat irrelevant to the questions. However, it seems like he knows a thing or two, based on the description.

All I have to say is, odd.

What confuses me is those butt ugly wheels. Blegh.

Okay, if you have wheels like that on your car, feel free to take a plug at me. My car's wheels are painted to match the driveway-spray red paint job. They are acceted by Union Jack pin striping that match the peeling adhesive pinstriping running down the side of the car. Blegh, indeed.

What's a bit kooky is he has bought a few MG parts from ebay in the past few months. Junk mostly but still it seems to point to the fact that there may be an actual car...lol. His responses to questions are so amusing that I'm watching the auction just to see what he says next....

Engine room pic is also reversed.

Some one from his area needs to check it out. He did list his name and address.

Hmm, guess he was standing in the cockpit when he took the pic, confused me. Hay I old and confuse easly, hehe.

I asked if this was a real car that humans could drive or a toy? I also said the listing was very confusing and selling for $14?????? Something is amiss.

This was his reply:

"Mint 1978 MG midget, super clean."

I wonder if this is some kid playing games???

...not the greatest feedback rating either.

Yes, there is something def. wrong here...his feedbacks are sketch (I read a few of the negs.)...and his responses for this auction are misleading and ambiguous. I would not trust this guy at all.

Surprise, surprise, he ended the auction early. And I thought I was going to Portland to get my next Midget.

imagine that!...hmmm

I'll bet the cheap @#$@ was just trying to avoid paying the selling fee for a car. It's alot cheaper to list a toy than the real thing... Sketchy to say the least! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonono.gif

So you mean he was trying to get someone to contact him outside of eBay but still show it there? If so clever but I would never buy from him.
