I'll that Patrol... I actually drove one once, about eleven years ago, it was up for sale in the Calgary area, and I went for a look... It was a truck that had spent most of it's life on an Alberta ranch until it was sold to the owner at the time I saw it... I haven't seen this truck since then, don't know if it's still in town even, as I recall the price was $2,500 which seemed fairly reasonable... Photo you ask?

I approve! Although I want a Grand Wagoneer in either dark blue or maroon. Creme looks nice too.
Nissan patrol?... neat. new to me. My cousin collects Suzuki Samurais. I think he has 5 now.

They aren't well known here, Nissan sold a small number of them here in North America during the 1960's (only about 300 according to one source I recall quoting), and of note they still carried the Nissan name plate when all the other vehicles said Datsun, of course the name switch over to Nissan happening in the early 1980's... I've actually seen three of them at different times, drove the one I mentioned above...
 
Saw lots of them in Honduras and Ecuador.

rust + gas mileage
 
JP's got it right, Abysmal gas mileage (Why I don't own one) very prone to rust (All 80s AMCs were) also they are full of electronics (Power everything), and none of them are new anymore. Gremlins are common. Parts can be tricky, but there is a large following of Wagoneer enthusiasts, and anything can be had.
They drive very nice, and have all the gadgets. very posh, and very retro. Always a classic look with a vintage canoe on the roof racks.
Oh, and make sure you budget for a new wardrobe of flannel shirts from Woolrich and LL Bean.... ;D
