Mangda... They were huge bugs that the Thais really savored. We used to catch them at night, and them sell them to the locals. A bagful would fetch about loi baht...about $5. I've eaten them in kao-pot mangda, which is basically fried rice with the bugs all chopped up in there. We had a local national that ran our generators at the communications center that used to catch them at night and cook them on the exhaust manifold!
