Oil spilling out of little hole on Cylinder head

Yup.. i am learning as i go. But rebuilt carbs, replaced thermostat and other little things on my 1967 AH sprite 1275. Was going to put carpet and seats in and drive, pulled it out of garage, and oil was spilling out of a little hole by the thermostat on the cylinder head..great. my uncles out of town and cant get ahold of him, and i want to know what is wrong...any help..thanks
