Well, it went well - a fairly simple proceedure. I feared that like almost anything else it would turn out to be a complex problem. At the same time my fuel line sprang a leak and after a long half-hour under dripping gasoline I replace it as well. Now to troubleshoot the directional signals which went out also, I am bout to offer the old girl for sale. I love the car but am getting a bit too old to deal with the quirks.
