TR6 Oil Pressure Light

Folks. I have a 1975 Triumph TR6. The oil pressure light has recently begun to stay on when I turn the key off. Oil pressure while slightly high (75lbs/sqin at 2000 RPM) does not appear to be the issue since the light does NOT come on while running. I replaced the low oil pressure switch thinking it might be bad and made sure to re attach wiring correctly to the new. Light remains on with key off or removed. Any thoughts? TY

Remove the 3 wires on the 75's oil pressure sensor switch....one at a time..... and see which one if any cause the low OP warning light to go off.

You have the wires wrong on the oil pressure switch.
Make sure you have the White/Brown on the “S” contact of the oil pressure switch.
