Oil Gun vs Grease Gun

If you venture further down south along the Skyline Drive/ BR Parkway, come down to the Boone and Blowing Rock area and abandon the Parkway for NC-221. That road parallels the Parkway but is older. It is full of twists and turns that are lots of fun. However, if your goal is leaf or scenery watching, -221 is not for you since you won't be able to take your eyes off the road.

Doug,

Actually, as beautiful as the Parkway is and as enjoyable it is to drive, I prefer challenging winding back (paved) roads. With VA antique plates, however, I am limited to 250 distance from home. I don't know if NC-221 fits within those limits.
