oil cooler need for 1500midget with 9:1 comp ratio

What is the experience/thought/reccomendations of others when you convert a 1500 midget to a compression ratio of 9:1 (this includes the flat head pistons and the head that gives 9:1 compression ratio) in needing to add an oil cooler?

I suppose it could never hurt.

But I raced my 1500 for 7 seasons and did not bother with one. I ran the car in at least three 4-Hour enduros during that time and oil temp was not really a problem. The 1500 has a good-sized radiator. If the cooling system is in good shape, oil temps should not be an issue.

Change oil at an appropriate intervals for a street classic: at least once a year (assuming you drive less than 2000 miles per year). Check the crankshaft thrust at least once a year. And keep engine RPMs below 6000 (really, below 5500 if you can help it).
These are probably more important concerns than an oil cooler for the 1500.

Is there too much heat? I can show you how I ran copper lines through the tunnel and put and extra radiator(subaru heater core) in the rear near the rear axle. You could do the same and even put a fan like for a motorcycle radiator on it to really get the heat out. I had a head gasket problem that I fixed and don't need that extra cooling for that now, but I left it in there. I got a plan for air conditioning when I get the time and the condenser will go back there with a fan and not put that heat under the hood. Evaporator is going in the passenger side. The cab is small enough that it won't make much difference as long as you can move air. Wife can put a blanket over her legs or something. I'd be dangerous if I had time off work.

I have been thinking of using parts from a small fridge and running it off of an inverter.
