Oh, what I would give to....

Well shoot... Go get some oil and a filter, a set of spark plugs and an air cleaner. Inlaws would probably let you take some pie home if you did.

I'm in a near-identical situation just now and I ~completely~ share Tom's assessment!

We rented a Suzuki SX-4 (just a big licorice jellybean, IMO) for the trip. Only redeeming qualities are: it saves wear-and-tear on poor ol' Diesela and fuel cost was low in comparison. Had we been given more lead time, Diesela would've been here instead.
On the Interstate the thing has me feeling like a Fiat 500 in a Formula One event, as well. :shocked: :eeek:
