Not much else to say, really. I have forever embarrased my little Bugeye. Just need to figure out how to attach the antlers! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Oh yeah....the nose is a bit chipped up (thanks for noticing!). My Bugeye is a daily driver and when it snows they cover the roads with sand. I don't drive her in the snow, but even when the white stuff is gone the dirt remains. I hope to have it repainted in the spring.

Enjoy! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

GREAT!

(And, color-coordinated with the interior, is it not?)

Yep.....she's got a red interior too!

My thought is to dress her up as Rudolph and drive around town in a Santa hat tossing candy canes to the gawking onlookers. Whatcha think??? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I need to know what is holding that on, did you remove the emblem?

I did remove the emblem and wrapped the wire attached to the crimson probiscus around my fan frame (I have an electric cooling fan attached to the inside of the grille area). So far so good.....although I haven't taken it out on the highway yet. Hopefully it doesn't fly off. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

Oh, that is outstanding, next year for sure.

Was out yesterday in my santa hat, lots of waves and pointing from kids. Fun stuff.

looks good Mike!

Are you going to the Lake of the Ozarks thing next summer? Because we could do a road trip/ convoy kinda thing and maybe get a couple more from the area to all drive together.

I wish I had a scan of the photo, but here goes. Picture a Primrose yellow bugeye, large red paper tongue taped to the center bottom edge of the grill hanging down to the ground, Black construction paper eyelashes sticking up 6" in the air attached to the top of each headlight rim.
It was Halloween and the local kids trick-or-treat in the downtown area. I drove through the downtown and the kids went nuts. The photo sits above my desk and still cracks me up.

Glen......that sounds very cool! I'll have to get mine dressed up next year!

Jay....I plan on going to that show. I've stayed at that hotel before for a Fiero show a few years ago. It's a nice place to host an event like this. Hopefully I can get my Bugeye a little more "show worthy" by then.

Mike,

Sounds like it is going to be fun. My wife Linda is going to follow as "chase/ tool" truck with the Toyota 4 runner which will probably be pulling the Jet Skis. Her brother has a place on the water about 20 minutes away from this shi-dig and,,,, I want to show you some roads on the North side of the dam.

All you need after the antlers is a couple of "pupils" in the bugeyes and she'll be purrfect!!!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbsup.gif

Looks Great ! what a great way to enjoy the season  and every one of those stone chips looks just fine, every one of the stone chips is a reminder of how much fun it is to DRIVE these buggy's !
