Some of you might know me from the Production Car Racing or the MG Experience forums (as ggnagy) and now I have wondered over here. I bought a new British car to race that is totally NOT an MG (Austin Healey Sprite), and felt I needed to broaden my horizons.

For those who don't know me from elsewhere, my name is Greg Nagy and I live near Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. I grew up in a British car family and my wife and I have a number of MGs and MG projects. I also have a H Production 62 Austin Healey Sprite that I just bought to race with the SCCA MARRS series. I am not much of a show car person, but my wife is talking about a "drive to eat/picnic" type group for locals.

I tend to get asked from time to time, "Are you the G Nagy who raced a Mini and later a Spitfire? No, that is my uncle, Gary Nagy.

Welcome, Greg - good to have you aboard!

Welcome Greg! Another Sprite guy!
I have lots of laps at Summit....usually run it twice a year (ran the Jeff 500 this year and may run the EMRA 4 Hour this Fall).

Welcome aboard Greg! By the way, I was born in Clarksburg and raised in Bridgeport.

Hi Greg, and welcome to the Forum. You're kinda like a neighbor, we drive the Healeys over to Harpers Ferry a lot. :savewave:

Thanks folks.. been busy getting the car ready for a regional at NJMP this weekend. Aeronca65t, I have seen you and your car at SP. Talked to you about your car and the carbs you had at the time. Might have been a Turkey Bowl a few years back, or else the Jefferson. Basil, I know the area. Far end of the state though. I grew up in the Pittsburgh area.

Welcome, Greg!

...I suspect we've met. May even have pix of your uncle running around The Ledges and SP back-in-the-day. We left Sewickley in late '80 for Florida, kinda lost track of a bunch of people. The 'net is changing that.

It is possible, but I would have been really young then. My uncle's mini was apple green, then petty blue. His Spitfire was red.

If you attended any North Hills Sport Car Club events back then, you would have definitely run into my parents, as they were heavily involved with that club.
