My first Austin Healey was a Spridget back when I was 16 years old, some ummmm long time ago. Did ya ever wish you didn't get rid of that special "first" car. Well, I did. But just this last summer, this little 62 Sprite came across my e-mail via the local AH club and I once again fell in love. I have two Big Healeys, but there is something about the Sprite. My Dearest said "as long as I can get in the car, close the door, open the door (on my own), and get out of the car (without rolling out onto the ground, and climbing up the side of the car) I can have the car." After a week of intense yoga classes and streching exercises, I went and look at the car, and sure enough, it fit. I am a Happy man, and very Happy to find this site as both Big Healeys and the Sprite are in a need of tender loving care. I can not tell a lie, I've been lurking around for some time, and am just now joining in the fun of posting. I know I have allot to learn, not only about the site and how to post stuff, but more importantly how to get and keep the Healeys on the road.

Thanks for letting me ramble. Magyar

Oh yea, how do you get the neat lil picture to the left of your posting? Hope everybody has a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving.

Hi Magyar, and welcome to the madhouse! Actually, most of us on here ramble, so you'll fit right in...... Lurk no more!!

With regard to the icon on the left, you will need a picture small enough, but go to "My Stuff" in the taskbar across the top of the page, then click on "Profile". Scroll down to the bottom, and you will see "Upload your avatar (Your image must be smaller than 80x80 pixels; .gif, .jpg, .png accepted)"

Click in the box, hit browse, find your piccie, then hit "Submit".

Walk in the park.

Welcome, Magyar!

Sounds as if you'll fit right in. The affliction is excusable 'round here.

You should be really "Thankful" that you have a very understanding "Better Half"!!

Have Fun & Do post a bunch of pics of your Big Healeys & Your Sprite.
