Thanks Basil, I'm in Australia and have a series IIa Land Rover which I am restoring. I have finished painting the chassis and most of the body, the engine is good (2.25 petrol) so what I am concentrating on now is rewiring the whole thing. Australia used to have lots of British cars of course and I sometimes wonder what the heck happened. In my neighborhood I still sometimes see a Triumph 2000? and I used to see an old rover 90. I couldn't tell you what half the new cars are because they look very similar and from what i'm told very difficult to work on, but much safer of course.
