We're loaded up and getting ready to pull out. Meeting Glenn Merrell and some others in Dayton, Ohio this evening, then on to Valley Forge.

TR8 still has "issues", so we're trailering it. (I know - WIMP! Lord Lucas reigns! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/mad.gif )

Will try to check in and let you know what you're missing!

Tony from Ratco asked me last week if I could come and help out at VTR. He'll have some frames and other stuff out there. Unfortunatly, I couldn't make it, as I'd love to chat with you folks. Just be sure to stop by his display. You'll be very impressed with the frames, and his other offerings.

Tell him Artie sent you over there. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/driving.gif

Subject to work commitments, I hope to make the show field in Phoenixville on Friday. I won't qualify to display the TR4, so it may only reach the general parking area, or if that is too far away then I shall come in a "bland-mobile".

Will people be identifying themselves as being involved in BCF?

Yes, I agree. I had a chat with Tony at Carlisle this past May. He had a complete TR-250/6 frame. I never realized how much more robust his box sctions are compared to the original. AND his frames areonly 40 lbs heaver.

I resolved the rear brake situation and the car is on the road!

I will be there on Wednesday-Friday. I dropped the car off Saturday night. I will commute back and forth from my house in my blandmobile every day. This is much easier than commuting the PA turnpike under construction, in rush hour, with no shoulders each way.

Hi There kindofblue;

Good to hear that your TR is up and about:

I will be coming down to the VTR (Weather Permitting) on Fri: Hope to see Ya All There:

The host motel charges $10 each day for internet access (!), so I'm on the shared computer at the moment. Don't know if I'll hook up in the room.

Met Twosheds and Angelfire today. Still looking for other members.

So far, it's a great show! Took a nice drive through Valley Forge today - lots of covered bridges and pretty scenery, though no picture opportunities to speak of. Will check back in ASAP.

Mickey,

Welcome to our neighborhood. Hopefully you will see a lot more of our country roads and nice scenery over the next few days. The Chester County area, just down the road from where you are, is especially nice. I hope to meet some BCF members at the show field on Friday; weather and work permitting.

Hey Mickey,
I'm here, staying at the Sleep in though. I believe it to be free internet access here. I've got the black TR6 with a factory hard top. Only a 3 1/2 hour drive for me. Almost a local comparatively speaking.
