Chuck left at 6:30 this morning with Binabox on the car dolly - headed to John's shop. Minimal body work (3" section of rust on the driver's floorboard, a good 'sandbath,' and then paint.

And no, we have no idea what color we're going with now. A week ago we had everything decided.

Now, no clue. But if the man says primrose or black cherry (Mazda RX8 Shinka black cherry) to me one more time I'm going to throw myself off the arch.

Right now I'm at the point of selling that car and sticking the $10,000 into Emma.

B a mistake, birdie. Really.

Hope you remembered to take the camra to the shop.

Sent it with Chuck. Might be the last pictures we get of her.

I'm sick of this whole process.

Oh come on, it's all comming together now. You are on the home stretch.

Do you have a nice chair in the garage so you can enjoy the result and contemplate your navel,,,,,,,,er paint job.

lemme see... early MGB, fast-tracked to paint, parts enough to get it mechanically right, rescources enuff to do interior and top to "as-new", and all inside six months... now ya wanna bail???

egad. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nonod.gif I need a drink.

See above. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/lol.gif

I'm the one that needs a drink.

Either a bottle in front of me or a frontal lobotomy.

Trust me you opinion on the whole process will change the second you see the car painted no matter what the color. Well unless it comes back baby poo green. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Oh, you mean citron? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

really though, the bits of citron that show on my car are very close to a baby poo yellow/green.... totally not an attractive color... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/pukeface.gif

I like citron. I'd love to have Midget that color.

eh... to each his/her own I reckon. However, I can think of at least a dozen other colors I'd rather have over citron. On the other hand, I tend to be a glutton for being "different" and have a high probability of reverting to my car's original color some day.

Chartruese.

ah... well, I find that color a much more palatable, personally. However, I was just looking over Teglerizer's MG color base, and found the "Inca Yellow" (Sun Yellow) to be a nice eye catching color...

The color reminds me of my first truck that I had painted Canary Yellow right after high school... *ahhh* the fun I had in that truck... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Dove grey. Red top w/ zip down window, red leather seats w/ white piping. Painted wires for the time being, we may go minilites in the future.

EXQUISITE!

I hope to see that car "in the flesh" sometime.

Very Classy.

I know that all too well. Must have been 40 red rubber bumper Bs lined up along with Emma at John Twist's party last summer.
