I had the Whitephrog towed on a rollback to a local shop for help in brake and clutch line bleeding. I had to finally give up on doing it myself..got frustrated and ran out of time. As it happen the chief mechanic's mom use to have a Bugeye and he has had several MGs. I'm having him put on new rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes as well.

Assuming all goes well, I'll drive it home tomorrow. First time back on the road since 1974. The exhaust pipe goes on at the local muffler shop Friday morning. A buffing is scheduled at my local paint shop Friday afternoon. God willing, I'll drive her to Townsend Tennessee Saturday morning for the Blount British Car Club show.

We're all pulling for you... hope all the work goes smoothly and you'l be driving again soon.

Maiden voyage this afternoon. About five miles from the shop back to my house. First time to travel under it's own power since 1974. I found that in the last four years I've gotten fatter, stiffer and quite a bit more cautious in traffic.

Final exhaust pipe installation in the morning. Miscellaneous debugging and a good cleaning/buffing in the afternoon. Depending on the weather... off to the Blount British Car Club show on Saturday morning, a 45 miles trip.
