What do you use to clean hardwood floors, having many lil friends, 2 chihuahua's a minnie yorkie, and a kitty, I have found Method cleaner to be the best.

Anyone have a better suggestions?

I recently installed 3/4 inch solid oak floring in my BCF COmmand Center (Study) and our hallway. We use Orange Glo Hardwood Floor Cleaner. Great stuff!

I've been using the Minwax stuff for years. Seems to work well, but I have nothing else to compare it to.

Thanks you all, sorry, but I was thinking today, while driving to CT to work on Midget or back or what ever, floor finish and application are also a ?.

I have put seven coats of shinney poly first.

If your floors are finished with poly
DO NOT put anything on them except mild
soap and water.

We learned the hard $$$ way not to wax poly
coated wood floors. Installer got paid twice
to finish the same floors! And he told us soap
and water only. The second time we paid attention.

If your floors are poly finished then for sure you want to consider Orange Glow (Which is what I've been using with great success). From the back of the Bottle:

"Hardwood floor cleaner is for use on unwaxed, polyurethane finished wood floors only" In other words, its made specifically for this type of finish (and it does work great!)
