Of IT managers and parrots...

I believe that's the joke, they just repeat themselves...

I've had good and bad IT managers, worse one was a self obsessed, to put it politely, idiot. Would throw his team members under the bus in an instant if he thought there was something in it for himself. Whatever happened to someone, he had to have something better or worse that occurred in his life, at least that he thought was better or worse. He told a person losing her home that he understood because he could only buy one new Lincoln and one year old one for he and his wife and was offended she didn't see that quite the same as losing a house. I would gladly have settled for a "parrot" during that period...

A very common experience I suspect.
That written, I have met some very helpful ones... but most had a serious edge to them.
