OEW paint code

I am about to have Dayton build up a set of wire wheels for our '56 100 LeMans racecar and want to have them match the car (oew with black coves). Realize there is several variations of oew, our car is more white then yellow. Not looking for a perfect match but one that will look close. Dayton has asked for a paint code to build these wheels. Anyone have a code for the color?

Ford Wimbledon White (PPG Ditzler # 8378) is the same as or very close to the lighter OEW. If you have a paint store nearby you could compare a chip to your car beforehand to see how close it is. BMW/Rover/Mini Pepper White is supposedly very close too.

Interested in what you are doing when you said Dayton was building up a set of wire wheels. Can you give anymore details? I had heard Dayton wasn't doing custom work anymore.
