In KC this last week we've had some good and bad weather, but yesterday and today it is beautiful!!!! My bugeye with the supercharger has 500 miles on the new motor and I'm going to change the Rotella out for a synthetic. My engine guru tells me that Amzol is the way to go because it still has the zinc in it. Anyway, I'm driving the bugeye without the bonnet (its still at the body shop) and I'm kinda getting used to it. It is easier to show off and the old bugeye does look pretty. It is fun to hear the whinning of the sc and the suction of the intake. The car really acclerates. The one inconvience is no night driving.

Do you mean Amsoil?

About the whine... It really isn't too noticeable, but I'm trying to figure out if I will have room to make an airbox that will muffle it a little bit.

My buddy who has a sc also has his bonnet on it and you can't hear the whine. Trevor, you say you are getting better milage once you weren't constantly putting your foot in it, I haven't gotten to that point in my driving experience yet.

I would love to have a SC and if I did I would want EVERYONE to hear that whine!

As far as oil, I've been using Valvoline VR1 Racing Oil in my B. It still has the ZDDP.
