Odd problem

I have had this issue for 2 years and its driving me nuts! On the road I get an engine stumble (not quite a mis - fire)right at 2500 RPMS. It starts at 2300 and almost stops at 3000 although you do notice it a bit at higher speeds.

I also notice that if I rev the engine that it starts to mis fire at higher revs.

I have replaced the distributor and have a petronix in place of points. I have used several rotors, all from Moss though. New plugs, wires, dizzy cap.
I guess carbs are the logical thought but I have set them up by the book several times and checked the floats too (not that I did it right mind you, but I tried)
Any thoughts?

Call Jeff at Advance Distributors and order 2 rotors. Add in the back of Classic Motorsports with contact info. Or google advanced distributors. Another great guy to know.

I looked at the Web site and it says his rotors don't fit the 45D replacement Dizzy which is what I have.
I'll give him a call to discuss but we might be on to something here (or not)

APT has parts for the 45d.
