Interesting,

Here is the image in case people have trouble getting it.

Looks rather Lotus-like! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

I've seen that bonnet style before, but can't place it exactly.

At one time someone posted an old article/ad for various aftermarket bonnets. I think it was on this message board.

I'll dig around when I have time.

Looks really good.

Does anyone remember the Practical Classics "Cut & Shut" feature, where they drew a car that was half one model, half another? Reminds me of that.

The "smiley face" grille opening is laughable when viewing it in a rear view mirror. With that kind of nose, the machine needs to stay out of that view.

That would look sweet with a fast-back hardtop!! I think it looks Italianesque (is that a word? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif )

I thought it was an Ashley at first, but then I remembered the early Ashley reused the grille from the Bugeye, and died before 1966, so it turns out it's a Lenham.

Oh, I like that. Did you see the back change, really looks good.
