OD leak

While working on my solenoid electrical problem, I discovered the source of a major oil leak. The leak looked like it was coming from the joint between the front and back halves of the overdrive unit. Actually it was from the threaded plug at the top of the OD which provides access to the operating ball valve which lets high-pressure oil engage the OD. I fixed it using teflon tape (yellow case) for gas lines, and smearing some Hylomar around the edges of the plug and on the copper washer. The oil leak may have continued even when parked because of being under pressure.
