TR2/3/3A Occassional seat - pre-60K TR3A?

Can anyone provide or point me to some good shots of the installed occassional seat for an early 3A? Looking specifically for the bracket mount areas.

My 59 has some extra holes in the back floorpan area which I will keep if they are for the seat but close off if they were for something else.

Also, any drawings or availability of the metal brackets out there?

Thanks
Randy

Steve-

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for the offer- just sent you a private message.

Are you asking if it's pre 60k?? The answer is yes. The Post 60k seats just lay on the rear shelf and, I think are held in place with a couple of screws.

Randy - does this picture help? Shows the anchor locations:

Excuse me for being an idiot. When I opened this thread earlier, it popped up on TexasKnuckleHeads post, and I thought he was asking if it was a pre 60k seat!

I promise to pay more attention in the future. :wall:

Frank-

Excellent! Glad you got it - when you shipping me those brackets in return?

Perfect pictures all, gives me something to work from. Not sure what was attached to the flooring, but its too many holes to have been the seat. Will try to post a picture later.

Thanks again!
Randy

Appreciate the pictures, I think it helps solve some mystery holes on the floorpans as shown below:

Red = bracket holes for seat
Green = Paint holes, should be plugged with plastic caps.
Yellow = DPO holes, will be eliminated

These are nothing special - just mild steel.
Indeed, mine are homemade from steel sourced at Home Base (back when they were still in business).
