Today on a smoke break, I observed some moisture on the edge of my left shoe sole. I thought it was odd, because it's not raining here, there's no moisture on the ground at all, and no one spilled anything in the kitchenets around the office. So I had to investigate this fluid on the edge of my shoe sole. I reach down, swipe it with a finger, rubed it against a thumb and discover it had a slight slickness to it. Suspicions form in me brain housing unit. Next on the list of tests was to smell the fluid. So I promptly smell me fingers for odors, and the suspicions were confirmed. Brake Fluid... only it's on me left foot so that means Mr clutch master cylinder is leaking a bit. Fluid had dripped onto me left foot while driving into work this AM.
I've changed the brake booster on my car, so I know that cramped area fairly well. I'm so not looking forward to pulling the Clutch Master and trying to squeaze me hands down in there and up through the fire wall to get everything hooked back up.
