If I was in the market to buy records, I wouldn't waste my money.
 
It doesn't sound like a Beatles song to me. Yeah, the Beatles are singing it, but the orchestra is all Paul, post Beatles. The chord progression seems different as well.
 
Well, like it or not, it's quite an accomplishment. It definitely has the earmarks (!) of some of their later works - especially John's. And I can't imagine what the experience of recording it must have meant to Paul and Ringo.

I agree that it was quite a technological accomplishment. They had actually worked on it while George was still alive and it was during their making of The Anthology. At the time, they just didn't have the ability to extract John's voice with sufficient clarity from his Demo. Peter Jackson to the rescue with machine learning..
