Not wanting to be a 'Lurker' -- My intro

Hello all,
Not wanting to be a 'lurker'...thought I would mention my projects. #1- 1957 MGA RD in frame off, #2 - 1966 MGB RD daily driver in dire need of a restoration, and #3 - 1958 Austin Healey 100-6, in frame off.

Actually #3 belongs to my business partner who, after going to San Diego British Car Days two years ago and falling in love with the Healeys displayed there, insisted that 'yours truely' help him find and restore one. Sooo, he bought a very rusted 'Big Healey'. I list the Healey as my one of my projects only because my business partner does not know which end of a hammer to hammer with, ergo, other than cleaning and painting parts, and paying for new parts, the project is all mine.

Both the '57 'A' and the Healey are progressing very nicely. We will be starting the Healey up sometime next week, the 'A' a month or so from now.

These LBCs are additions to a long line of MGs and Jags that I have owned over the years. A character flaw if ever there was one.

Best to all and Happy LBC'ing...

Ron

Well, with the A and a daily '66 you're well and truly "in the club" Ron! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Welcome! Glad there's another "flawed individual" who thinks the CB cars are meant for commuting on a daily basis. There's a few of us here, pedaling MGB's for years as primary transporters. Your experience and expertise is bound to help keep the marque alive through this forum... and you're among others with the same proclivities. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You mentioned your friends visit to the San Diego British Car Day do you live down here as well?

Bret, Yes I do... Actually North County...

Bret, Did you do the rather rainy British Rolling Car Days last month??? 'twas great fun.

Nice looking late 'B' by the way...

Thanks, but no I missed Rolling British Car Day. I’d had every intention of attending but we where right in the middle of some major landscaping & remodeling on the homestead that weekend.

Have ya posted any pics in the BCF's Rearders Rides photo section yet?
