Jerry Seinfeld tweeting hints about his next TV project
By Kimberly Potts , TheWrap

What's the deal with all those cryptic tweets Jerry Seinfeld's been posting in the last few weeks? They're leading up to Seinfeld's announcement of his next big project, which includes Larry David, Ricky Gervais, Alec Baldwin and some very cool cars.

The project the comedian has been referring to on Twitter is not a TV commercial, but the aforementioned celebs are "indeed elements of the project," a rep for Seinfeld confirms to TheWrap.

Seinfeld's latest tweets on the project came on Monday, when he posted a pair of photos -- one of him walking with David and another of he and David getting into a 1952 VW Bug -- along with the tweets "Seiny and LD back together again? What could this mean?" and "Here's a clue: A 1952 VW."

On April 17, Seinfeld tweeted "New Seiny Gig Update: Always lovable Ricky Gervais and myself shooting today in City Island, NY," along with a photo of Gervais and him in a vintage sports car.

On April 9, Seinfeld tweeted "My New Project: Shooting today in Battery Park City," along with a photo of himself inside a DeLorean, and on March 9, he tweeted, "Working on my New Thing. Shooting in Manhattan with the Great @alecbaldwin," along with a photo of him walking with Baldwin on the Upper West Side in New York City.

Seinfeld's a legit car guy, too. Owns some significant collectible Porsches (about 40 of them). In his film, "The Comedian", a film crew follows him out to a Porsche meet, I think on Long Island. Seinfeld's trying to explain the whole scene to the film crew and comes up with this:

"It's all about social ineptitude, there's not one person here that could conduct a conversation, or eat a meal without the food falling out of their mouth, they're the biggest losers in the world, and I'm one of them."
