I think if i had the opportunity to own a complete model line it would be corvair - and the van and the motorhome

My grandfather had a '64 convertible. Red with a white top. Beautiful car until my uncle had an accident with it. My uncle had a penchant for bad car decisions. He owned a 1976 Corvette, decided he didn't like it and returned it for a Monza notchback coupe instead. Then in '79 my grandfather gave my uncle his '68 GTO. My uncle turned around and traded it for...(wait for it)...a Plymouth Arrow! Ugh! In my uncle's defense this was when the gas prices spiked again, but really? A Plymouth Arrow?

There is a body shop in my town and the owner is the tech director of the Corvair Club.
There is a pickup and nice '65 convertible there right now.
There is always at least one Corvair there.

I had a '60 automatic when I was 19.

My first car, bought in '68 for first year at LSU - '62 Monza four-speed. Black with red interior. Would love to have it back!

Spotted a Lakewood of that vintage on a flatbed this morning. No camera, but it was like this one - same color:
