Kinda silly to see the price of the NOS screen on eBay is now at $693.99 with two hours to go. If we were smart we all would completely lay off the bidding. The fellow in England that is reproducing the screen claims his are completely identical to the original. Over the top bidding like this does nothing but give the maker of the repos a valid license to rape and pillage.

A few years ago when the repo process was being developed the developer sent an open note asking, in effect, wonder what the price should be. Sadly, now he knows.

I did say $4,000. Blew me away.
 
That's right and the seller had rescued them out of a dumpster behind an old Triumph dealership that was closing down! The price really surprised me because I was looking for a set. Although nobody liked them back in the day I think they look great on a TR3 in addition to the hard top.
 
$4000!!!!! for fender spats??? I can make them out of 22 ga galv. I had a set on TS23575L and made patterns because they are not being made any more. I think I will go in to business making spats if there is a market. Even 1 set a month will work for me.

After you exhaust the market, you can start producing those accessory suitcases that fit in TR3 trunks.

By the way nobody came up with an answer to TR3 Driver's question about the original aeroscreens being made of chromed brass rather than aluminum. The Ebay listing strongly indicates that part was chromed brass.
