People have lost their lives.

Quite disturbing.

this the Tornadoes? yes disturbing (but throw us a tad more information - especially when we are north of the border)

One of my night students is from that area. He got a call from friends tonight while he was in my lab class. They were just returning his call to say they were OK (but much property damage). Tornadoes are nasty business!

Been a rough two nights here. Power's still out at our house due to a tree in our next door neighbors yard taking out power lines on its way to the yard behind them. And then there's this a couple houses behind us. Check out the first two pictures, and then #34-49; the two houses are on the street behind ours, and we can see it from our back yard - about 150 ft. away:

More rain on the way...

you're certainly in our prayers!

Very, very sad. Tragically, many of those most affected are the poor, without insurance coverage.

The Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund is one way to help. I tend to prefer local charities, who best know the needs of their local community.

With sympathy . . .

Been worried about you folks there.
Keep your body and those LBCs safe

My son lives in North Little Rock. He hasn't been hit directly but lots of power and other related problems. Seriously though it looks like they are getting it bad.
