Noisy valvetrain

I was ruminatin' on this, wonderin' just how the valves were adjusted... with a cam of this profile/lift, the "opposing valve on full lift" method would likely not work. I'd be using a dial indicator on the lifter to determine each lobe's absolute "heel" to do the clearances.

Should still work fine, unless the cam is miscut (base circle not concentric). No matter how high and wide the lift, the valves must be closed before and after where the cylinder fires.
