A friend of a friend bought a decent TR3 a few years back for under $5K and was happily restoring his project...until Hurricane Katrina flooded his home in New Orleans. The family moved to Baton Rouge to get away from the devastation, even built his dream garage for the TR3 restore. Till Hurricane Gustav cut the new garage in half with a giant oak tree. And the TR3 inside. My friend bought the whole mess for $700.

Not to make light of the impact of these storms, but these TR3s seem to be in the middle of it. I think Jerry (texasknucklehead) is restoring a Katrina victim from New Orleans, and I hope to save one of the two in my garage after Ike. That salt water makes a mess of things in a hurry.

There is no such thing as tornados, Chuck Norris just hates trailer parks.
