What we need here is a listing of folks by car type.

Like those with Bugeyes, MK I, MK II, sprites etc.

MG, MK I, MK II, etc.

Think condition would be fun as well. Just general. Waiting restoration, tub, roller, getting close, restored, driver, show car, racer, trailer queen, garage queen. Lots of things to use.

No idea how that could be done but I bet Basil would know.

Sure would be neat to know who has what and how many are represented on the site.

Would a car registry work?

Yep Tony, it surely would, but we might need site names as well.

Seems like we have most of the folks, just no orginization to speek of.

Well, I've got a MkI Midget, a MkIII Midget, & a 1500 Midget. Wait, my TD is also a Midget!

hmmmm, I nned a MkII Midget.....

Yep, you do if you wish to fill out the line. But then you have so many you can wait and watch for a great one to come along.

One of these days you will be down to dusting and checking the air in the tires. LOL

When is wifes VW going to the paint shop?

Check out the GT6 registry,, maybe we need that for MG cars. There used to be one for Spitfires , which I had owned.

yep, just what we need for the spridgets.

A sort by column would be an outstanding feature.

We've gotta go to a funeral tomorrow so Thursday.

Hmmmm, 2900 listed, no way to tell how many are runable. However, that is quite a few in any case.

Too bad there is not a Sprite one. Or one that I know of in any case.

Originally, Dan at Spritespot was going to do a registry, but I guess his interest has lessened.

My tired work brain is trying to come up with the gumption to do a registry along with the bolt/nut database we've been talking about. Just need to get the motivation happening, and get at it. Maybe over the winter--it's a good time to hunker down with the old laptop and get some things done.

The technological problem is almost trivial, as I can probably just modify the inventory system I wrote for work. Just need to get my head around all the issues, and I'd be willing to do the work to make it happen.

Also, wasn't there some chap in Australia (?) doing a Bugeye/Sprite registry?

Yea there was, But it would be nice to have one that was assesable and sortable
like by state, vehicle type, year. Then folks could find each other and maybe, just maybe we could see how many are left.

Maybe we could get something started, and get in touch with that fellow to see if we could share data.
