well that explains my power lose....
im guessing 50% ; )
im getting no fuel to the rear carb...
im totally stumped, as the float isnt stuck
as i suspected.....at least its something simple...
is gonna run REAL good im gussing when i get it goin like
it was before i pulled the motor... ; )
somebody help so i can drive this thing! ....zimmmy
 
Zimmy, easy stuff, think about it.

No fuel to rear carb.

Does fuel come out of the rear carb fuel line?

If not go to where line splits, do you get fuel there?

If not new line or clean out what you have.

In fact if it was mine I would disconnect the fuel line at both ends and blow it out, all of it.
 
Oh, and hurry up, it's getting dark. Should only take a few min.
 
ive blew through everything already....ill try again..
the motor runs with only one carb,so i know there is gas to the front already.....
its only 6:30 jack....ive got 2 hours still ; ) haha
 
Zimmy,

Take the top off of the float chamber. Take the float, pivot pin, and needle off of the top. Put it back on the fuel line and turn on the ignition, if you have an electric fuel pump, or crank the engine if you have a mechanical fuel pump, with a container under the top. Does fuel come out of the needle hole? Clean things until fuel flows. Trash may have come down the line and be jammed up where the needle seats, as this is the smallest opening.

Make sure the fitting the needle goes into is tight. They can loosen and shut off of the fuel flow. Bucks to be made here. Wonder how I know:smile: This problem paid for several of my dinners.

everything is super clean, including the bottom of my rear float ; ) haha
im thinking its the fuel pump...
when i tested, i got a trickle..looked pathetic....
shouldnt it be spurting out fairly quickly...
the good news is Oreillys has one in stock for $43!
if anyone disagrees with my diagnosis let me know...

oh yeah, i DID go on a drive..ran good for a minute..was nice, got to ther exact same spot as yesterday and crapped out...haha....the coast home was nice and quiet ; )...z
 
So check the pump. How much you get. Pull a line before it splits to both carbs, but I expect you are right. Enough for one but not two.
 
my front float bowl is about half full...the rear one has about a teaspoon full of gas....
a few seconds of running and the fuel cant keep up and of course it soon dies....my theory anyway ; ).....z
