Caught one of the local fireworks shows tonight at Eldridge park. It was spectacular. I wish I could say the same for the crowd. Most inconsiderate group of degenerates I've dealt with in a long time.
Before that we had an outdoor church service (we always do sat night services at out church) where the pastor read a moving article that spoke of what happened to the signers of the Declaration on Independence. Most of them lost everything in the war Homes, families, friends... their own lives. Gives you a greater respect for the courage it took to start this great nation 134 years ago.
