General MG Nitrocellulose lacquer

We all know its shortcomings, but NC lacquer is correct for MGs, and while it will be a long time before my '58 is ready for paint, I'd like to investigate sources. I know the US sources such as Hibernia. But I wonder if the paint can be legally brought across from Mexico or maybe there's a source in Asia, where NC is still very common. India maybe? Has anyone done this? The stuff is legal to use most places, though only for restorers (and guitar finishers!) not body shops.
