I wonder if it was bought just to put those heads on another period restoration?

To somebody restorion a GT40, it'd be just a petty expense after getting a hold of an Austin 4-cyl, and resell the car.
 
That is an absolutley gorgeous car, I like original cars, I like modified if done tastefully, that car has a very stock overall look, beautiful color scheme, screaming V-8 (I assume) I don't think the price is that crazy, I guess somebody could have bought it for the heads, but I could see somebody buying it for what it is as well.
