Nice sunny day here- got some things done on the B

We finally had a sunny day, partially sunny anyway.
I put a fuel filter in and replaced the rubber fuel lines to the carbs. I got under the car & ran a fishtape up through the drain tube - there was surprisingly little that came out. I rammed it up in there until it hit metal then pulled the hook back and repeated several times. I guess I'll see if it still leaks inside the next time it rains.

Here's a picture of the other thing I did this afternoon:

And here's a picture I took as the sun was setting, view from our front door...

Very nice. I just got done polishing up a B windshield frame and cleaning up the heater box. I should be painting something this weekend as I dont have any finger prints left.

I took the spousal unit to Chicago to see the musical "Wicked" at the Ford Theatre.

It was a good day...and I gained a lot of brownie points.

My dear departed Da took heat for his observations.

...can't say any more.

What mountain is that?

Mount Si. In the Snoqualmie / North Bend Wa. area.
About 3500 feet, nice hiking trail to the top.
The river is the upper Snoqualmie, about 3/4 mile up from the falls.

We had two more nice sunny days, we all went to the Museum of Flight on Sunday.

I've got one of those jobs where holidays like Presidents day is a day off so yesterday I was out working on the B again.

I got the left rear bumper replaced - Thank God for the angle grinder! Badly rusted bolts that hold the overriders on can be dealt with nicely with a cutoff wheel, making the job of putting on new shiny overriders so much easier!

Replaced both 'bumper fillers' too. Nice new shiny ones, are they all as flimsy as the original ones I removed and the new ones I fitted?

Lets see, oh yeah I also did an oil change!
