Time to sell my summer car!

Shes a 1973 MG Midget. Runs and Drives. A blast to bomb around in. 45 mph feels like 60!

I saw this one and it's mighty tempting since it is right in my neighborhood. $800.00 here means 800 less for the work I'm already doing to mine however. It's a tough call but I think I have to pass.

Have you see the car?
Would you be willing to look it over and post what you find here?
For instance, whether you think it could be driven 180 miles (home)?

heh - would be nicer to drive it tho...

$800.00 Sounds like a smoking deal, but I can’t see the horizontal line normally there between the rocker and the front fender? Looks a bit tricky.
Thought about calling this last Saturday but I don't need another rough body car. They cost too much.

Thanks Dug - I just enlarged the picture several times and I can't see that line either. Could be the poor photo quality, it would really pay to have someone look it over. Or get some good photos.

I asked for more pictures and he sent me several high res ones. Looks like that seam behind the front wheels is filled in, rust bubbles evident lots of places, ratty interior, poor paint. I can pass on the photos to someone else if desired, or just ask him for some.

On second thought, enjoy.

Ohhhh.... thanks for that!!

I'm going to go out on a limb here but I suspect the grille badge goes a long way to explaining the rust.

But...with the seam filled in, how does he take off the front fenders to clean behind the--oh.
